One review update a day, not two

Raview Technologies Inc. · Help

Once your Google Business Profile is connected to Raview, Raview handles new reviews on its own — drafting a reply, posting it overnight where you've allowed it, and sending you one morning digest. Google's own review notifications weren't built knowing that, so left on, they'll keep emailing you about the same reviews Raview already told you about. Here's how to turn those off.

On the web

  1. Go to business.google.com and sign in with the account that manages your listing.
  2. Click More, then Notifications.
  3. Find Customer activity — this covers new reviews and photos.
  4. Turn it off.

On the Google Maps app

  1. Open Google Maps and tap Business at the bottom right.
  2. Tap the notification bell at the top right.
  3. Turn off review alerts there too.
Worth knowing: this setting is tied to your Google account, not your listing. If more than one person manages your Business Profile, each person needs to turn this off on their own account — Google doesn't give us a way to do it for you. Google may also still send the occasional account-level email even with this off; that's normal and not something this changes.

What you'll get instead

One digest each morning, straight from Raview: what was posted overnight, and anything held back for your approval. Turning off Google's own alerts doesn't change what Raview does behind the scenes — it just means you hear about each review once, from one place.
